Top 21 of 2021
Spokane Family Photographer
Hello! And welcome to The Camera Kidd’s annual recap in photographs- I am so happy you are here. I like to look back on the year and select the images that stuck with me, for whatever reason, and helped me grow as a photographer. My hope is that this review of my top 21 can be a representation of my style as well as an archive showing how my photos have changed through the years. Below, you will find 21 professional and personal images that have meant a little extra to me this year. Some of these photos were included because I am proud of their quality and some are included simply because they are special to me.
Through gathering these photos I realized that I was drawn to the images that spoke connection, peace and togetherness. These are the feelings that I needed to capture this year. Without my incredible clients and the loved ones that support me, this would not have been possible. So before I go any further, I would like to thank all of you who supported me this past year. If you booked a session with me, shared my photos or encouraged me in any way- I appreciate you. This 2021 recap and the growth of The Camera Kidd would not have been possible without you.
In many ways, 2021 was the opposite of 2020 for my family. In 2020 we experienced more time together than we ever had (my husband’s time in quarantine totaled to months, literally) and as a military family this was a gift. We experienced another international move, and I decided to start The Camera Kidd. This past year brought a different energy to our lives as The Camera Kidd grew, I trained for my first big endurance event and our family was separated more than it ever has been.
Throughout my family’s time apart and together this past year, I was given the opportunity to photograph so many beautiful couples and families. Those experiences brought me incredible happiness and looking back I realize that they helped to fuel me for the tough moments to come. To have someone ask you to capture their portraits is an honor, and I still can’t believe I get to do it.
Please scroll to enjoy my Top 21 of 2021, a collection of professional and personal photographs that attempt to sum up my year as an evolving photographer who sought togetherness.
Cheers!
